Studio essentials

Understand the workspace, find your content and take a first draft safely to your website.

Choose the right workspace and environment

A workspace groups content types, entries, media, team access and delivery settings. Its environment separates a publication from other versions of that workspace. The API calls the workspace ID projectId or project_id.

How to use it

  1. Sign in, open the workspace selector and choose the project you intend to change.
  2. Check the environment selector in the navbar before editing, publishing or configuring a connection.
  3. Use Overview for shortcuts, Content types to define structure, Content for entries and Media for files. Management and Delivery contain administrative tools.

Good practice

  • Use clear workspace and environment names; verify them before any publication.

Avoid

  • Do not assume a familiar entry title or an old browser tab means you are in Production.

Get help without leaving your work

Information buttons explain the current page and selected concepts such as publication, role overrides and API credentials. They supplement the instructions and validation messages already visible on the page.

How to use it

  1. Use the information button in the top bar to learn what the current Studio page is for.
  2. Use information buttons beside section headings for an explanation at the point of use.
  3. Hover or focus an information button to read its explanation. On a touch screen, tap to open it; tap again or outside it to close. Press Escape to dismiss it with a keyboard.

Good practice

  • Check the selected workspace and environment before making a change.

Avoid

  • Help describes a feature; it does not grant access, save a form or apply a change.

Find workspace settings by task

Workspace settings groups related cards into four tabs. Switching tabs keeps unsaved input in the current page; it does not save changes.

How to use it

  1. Open Workspace settings as the Owner. General contains workspace identity and appearance; Editorial contains approval policy and content languages.
  2. Use Website preview for consuming-site destinations and Plan & usage for allowances, usage refresh and plan-change impact review. Team opens its separate management page.
  3. Use the arrow keys, Home and End to move between tabs. Existing section links open the tab containing that section.
  4. Use each form's Save action when ready. Save before navigating to another page or switching workspace or environment.

Good practice

  • Choose the tab for your task and check the selected environment before saving.

Avoid

  • Do not assume switching tabs saved your edits or applied a plan change.

From a first entry to a consuming website

Saving content and displaying it on a website are separate actions. Lemonade delivers structured data; your website implements the presentation.

How to use it

  1. An Owner, Admin or Developer creates a content type, or chooses an editable starter template.
  2. Open its collection, choose New entry, enter values and save the draft.
  3. Resolve publishing-readiness messages and publish required referenced entries and media. Complete review if workspace policy requires it.
  4. Publish the entry. Configure your website with an appropriate published-read credential and query the model's API identifier.

Good practice

  • Test with a small fictional entry before connecting real editorial content.

Avoid

  • Do not expect a saved draft to appear through a published-content API.

Find content and save a useful view

Collections stay focused on browsing. Entry creation and editing have their own pages. Filters and saved views help repeat common editorial searches.

How to use it

  1. Open Content, choose a collection and use language, search, status, sorting and More filters.
  2. Search operates on saved draft values, not text that is still unsaved in another editor.
  3. Save a reusable content view when the current filter combination is useful; select, update or remove it through the collection's view controls.
  4. Open an entry to edit it; use Back to return to the collection. Clear filters if an entry seems absent.

Good practice

  • Name saved views after a task, such as articles needing translation.

Avoid

  • A filtered list is not a permission boundary. Ask the Owner about missing access instead of changing URL identifiers.
Need a hand? Check troubleshooting. Documentation describes the locally verified pilot; production qualification remains in progress.
